MRI - Glioblastoma multiforme: This 65-year-old man with a history of prostatic hypertrophy, hypertension and diabetes mellitus presented with new onset seizures. Examination revealed prominent abulia, disinhibition, bilateral grasp responses and a right-sided Babinski sign. The T1-weighted (left panel) and T2-weighted (right panel) axial MR images show a bifrontal heterogeneous-appearing lesion extending across the anterior corpus callosum. There is surrounding mass effect. On additional images (not shown) there is contrast enhancement of the lesion. |
