MRI - Acoustic Schwannoma: This 45-year-old man with a family history of neurofibromatosis type II presented with hearing loss and unsteadiness of gait. Examination revealed bilateral end gaze nystagmus and conductive hearing loss. T1-weighted coronal MRI images without (left panel) and with gadolinium enhancement (right panel) show homogeneously enhancing lesions bilaterally within the internal acoustic canals. There is also a 1 cm oval-shaped mass along the left paramedian frontal lobe adjacent to the falx.
