MRI - Metastasis from kidney: This 63-year-old man with a history of renal cell carcinoma presented with the sudden onset of nausea and vomiting. Examination was significant for slight left-sided hemiparesis and bilateral hyperreflexia. The T1-weighted MR axial image on the left shows a small hypointense area in the right frontal lobe that exerts minimal mass effect on surrounding structures. The corresponding MR image on the right shows ring-enhancement of the lesion following contrast administration. |
