CT - Subdural hematoma: This 20-year-old man presented with a decreased level of consciousness following a motor vehicle accident. Examination revealed him to be drowsy, with decreased word output and right-sided hemiparesis. The axial CT image shows a lentiform-shaped high-density fluid collection along the left frontoparietal region with significant lateral ventricle effacement and midline shift, consistent with a subdural hematoma.
