CT - Epidural hematoma: This 10-year-old girl was struck by an automobile and had transient loss of consciousness. On examination she was stuporous but had a nonfocal neurological examination. The CT blood window image shows a large extra-axial hyperdense collection within the middle cranial fossa adjacent to the temporal lobe. There is also a fracture of the left temporal bone.
