MRI - Spontaneous intracranial hypotension: This 57-year-old man with a past medical history of hypertension presented with positional headache and double vision. The examination was significant for right-sided abducens palsy. Cerebrospinal fluid opening pressure during lumbar puncture was 17 mm H20. The T1-weighted pre-gadolinium (left panel) and post-gadolinium enhancement (right panel) axial images show a rim of proteinaceous fluid in the subdural space, and marked pachymeningeal (dural) enhancement following contrast administration. |
