MRI - Hemorrhage, amyloid angiopathy: This 81-year-old man with a history of moderate memory loss presented with the acute onset of confusion. Examination was significant for a mini-mental status examination score of 21/30 and left-sided spatial and visual neglect with a left Babinski response. The T1-weighted axial MR image on the left shows high signal within the right parietal region. The T2-weighted image on the right demonstrates low signal and slight prominence of the sulci. |
