Dr. Maurer, a board certified neurosurgeon with a busy general neurosurgery practice joined the Medical Center Faculty in 1992.

Dr. Maurer received his medical degree from the University of Rochester. He interned and completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Maurer's expanding neurosurgical clinical practice focuses on general neurosurgery, spine surgery, aneurysms and stroke.
