When applying for a neurosurgery residency, we require an application through the San Francisco Match Program. This is a computerized nationwide service which makes the application process not only much easier for you, but for your references, and the programs as well. The San Francisco Match Program can be reached at:
(415) 447-0350
or at the following URL: http://www.sfmatch.org
We also welcome and encourage extern rotations here, while you are still in medical school. Arrangements can be made through the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Registrar's office at (585) 275-4541. We welcome the opportunity to talk with you.
We look forward to hosting interviews for our applicants in November and December. If you are invited for an interview, you will be given a choice of dates, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Again, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you in the fall.
Good Luck!
Sincerely,
Melanie Zandvoort,
Administrator, Residency Coordinator
