Flu Visitation Restrictions
Our community is currently experiencing high volumes of flu activity. To ensure the health and safety of our patients, families, staff and our community the following visitor restrictions are now in place:
- Those who are exhibiting flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat) are asked to NOT visit hospitalized patients. Units may screen visitors for symptoms prior to entry.
- All unvaccinated visitors must wear masks when visiting patient areas in Golisano Children's Hospital (including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and OB/Maternity.
- Visitation will be restricted to two caregivers in Golisano Children's Hospital and, in Maternity, to the mother's significant other and two other caregivers.
Thank you for helping us to protect our hospital community from the flu. If you have any questions about the flu please contact your health provider. For questions about visitation, please talk to the nurse leader on the unit.
