There will be a family-style carnival from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McDonalds restaurant at Long Pond and Latta roads to raise funds to support the oral, head and neck cancer program at the Wilmot Cancer Center. You’ll laugh until your sides hurt with the unmistakable comedy of Phyl Contestable’s ‘Reverend Mother.’ The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Rochester Alumni and Advancement Center Auditorium, 300 East River Road. VIP tickets are available for $35 and include a wine and cheese reception with the Reverend Mother and the opportunity to have a friend or family member ‘roasted’ during the show. Women can learn more about the new guidelines for mammography and breast health and plastic surgery during a free education program from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Wilmot Cancer Center.
