American Society of Clinical Oncology Honors John Bennett, M.D.
John M. Bennett, M.D., an international expert in leukemia, has been named the 2011 recipient of the B.J. Kennedy Award and Lecture for Scientific Excellence in Geriatric Oncology. The award is given by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and was presented at the group’s 47th Annual Meeting, held in early June.

Comprehensive Breast Care Center Receives Accreditation
The Comprehensive Breast Care Center (CBCC) at the James. P. Wilmot Cancer Center, and the Highland Breast Imaging Center at Red Creek have been granted a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.
