Q&A: On H1N1, a $200 prize and Romano and Engel

D. A. Henderson, M.D. (MD’54), is professor of medicine and public health at the University of Pittsburgh and a distinguished scholar at the Center for Biosecurity in Baltimore. He is a former dean of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. From 1966 to 1977, he directed the World Health Organization’s global campaign against smallpox. March of Dimes prize awarded to alumnus for dystrophy discoveries
