Viva Las Vegas! Concert to Benefit Brain Tumor Research
Oct. 10 Evening Performance in Memory of Former Musician

A Las Vegas-style benefit will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the School of the Arts, 45 Prince St., to support brain tumor research at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The performance is being dedicated to the memory of Rochester area musician Billy Halligan.
Viva Las Vegas! will feature Mark Phillips and his 20-piece Las Vegas Show Band, under the direction of conductor Chuck Morey. They will perform music by Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Neil Diamond, Wayne Newton, Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby Darin, Perry Como, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Nat King Cole, among others.
