The compelling stories of 13 brain tumor survivors are featured in a new web show created for the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center.Rochester area photographer Will Yurman created the moving show after learning about the challenges that diagnosis and treatment bring for these individuals, members of the cancer center's Adult Brain Tumor Network.
"It was an honor and a privilege to meet the members of the support network. They are an extraordinary group of people," Yurman said.
Viewers can see photographs of network members and listen to stories of how they were diagnosed and treated and now how they survive each day.
