A big thumbs-up to Honeoye Falls' Virginia Robbins
She raised more than $2,200 to benefit children with cystic fibrosis
October 15, 1999
Virginia Robbins, of Honeoye Falls, spent the last year raising money to help Children's Hospital at Strong patients who have cystic fibrosis. This week, Robbins presented the hospital with a check for $2,273. The money will be used to buy portable home-infusion pumps that aren't covered by most insurance policies.
Robbins raised the money on behalf of the Francis M. Dalton American Legion Post 282 Ladies Auxiliary in Lima.
