Dr. Jeffrey M. Rhodes Joins Department of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center

Jeffrey M. Rhodes, M.D., has been appointed to the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Strong Memorial Hospital.
Rhodes comes to Rochester from the Mayo Clinic, where he recently completed a residency in vascular surgery. He begins a practice at the University of Rochester Medical Center in general vascular surgery with a special interest in aortic aneurysms and occlusive disease, as well as venous and lymphatic disorders.
Rhodes received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. In addition to completing a vascular surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Rhodes also completed a general surgery residency at Pennsylvania State University. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Rhodes’ research efforts will continue from his previous work at the Mayo Clinic and will focus on the medical and surgical treatment of ulcerations caused by chronic venous insufficiency. He has authored numerous publications in this area and has presented his work both at a national and international level.
