Dr. Seth M. Zeidman Joins Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center

Seth M. Zeidman, M.D., has been appointed assistant professor and chief, Division of Complex Spinal Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Zeidman is a former assistant professor in Departments of Surgery and Anesthesiology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He is also a former assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
At the University of Rochester Medical Center, Zeidman will specialize in neurosurgical management of complex spinal disorders, including treatment of acute spinal injuries and degenerative spine disease. Zeidman will also continue his research into minimally invasive technologies for central nervous system trauma and outcomes improvement following traumatic brain injury.
Zeidman received his medical degree from Duke University, and completed both an internship in general surgery and a residency in neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
