Free Program Helps Couples Plan for a Baby

Advice for couples who are considering having a baby will be offered by Strong Health obstetrician/gynecologists at a free seminar on May 20, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rochester Airport Marriott in Greece.
Is There a Baby in Your Future? will address topics of concern to couples, such as · Preparing for pregnancy including diet, exercise and workplace issues; · Getting pregnant, factors affecting fertility and myths about conception; · Tips for a healthy pregnancy regarding weight gain, safe exercise and prenatal care. Participants will also learn about ultrasound and other technology that may be used during pregnancy. Presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
Speakers for the evening will be Jacqueline Halladay, M.D., of Westfall Women's Center; Susan Mou, M.D., chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Highland Hospital; and James Woods, M.D., director of High-Risk Obstetrics, Strong Memorial Hospital.
Refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public. Participants must register in advance by calling 275-2838.
