Two Physicians Join Orthopaedics Department at UR Medical Center

David C. Grimm, M.D.
, of Brighton, joined the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) as a general orthopaedist and assistant professor.
Grimm is an undergraduate of Harvard University who received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He recently completed his medical residency at URMC where he received the Carl M. Harris, M.D. Resident Award for "Commitment to Patient Care and Education."
Michael Maloney, M.D., of Rochester, joined the department’s Sports Medicine Division, specializing in shoulder and elbow repair and reconstruction. He will participate in the care of the Rochester Red Wings, Amerks and Rhinos, as well as the University of Rochester and St. John Fisher athletic teams.
Maloney received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University. He completed his Orthopaedic residency at URMC, and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
