Deubler Joins URMC Development Department

Andrew M. Deubler
has joined the University of Rochester Medical Center's Office of Development as director of Major Gifts. Most recently, he served as director of Development at WMHT Educational Telecommunications in Schenectady, New York. A graduate of Hartwick College in Oneonta, Deubler has held major development posts at Skidmore College and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has broad development experience including annual alumni giving and leadership gifts research, cultivation and solicitation. At the University, Deubler will help to strengthen relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations. "We are very excited to have Andrew join the Medical Center," said Craig Smith, URMC associate vice president of Development. "He will be a tremendous asset to our Development team in our efforts around the Campaign for Discovery, and as we sustain and grow support from alumni and other friends of the Medical Center." Deubler is a member of the board of trustees of the Saratoga County YMCA, the board of directors of the Greenberg Child Care Center, and was co-founder of the City of Saratoga Springs Alternative Sentencing Program. He previously served as a lecturer for Partners in Growth, a parent outreach group, and was a member of the National Society of Fundraising Executives' (NSFRE) Awards Committee. Duebler also gives fundraising lectures for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and other philanthropic groups.
