Recent Developments in the Research and Treatment of Anxiety Disorder: A Consumer and Family Perspective

In conjunction with National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day on May 6, Strong Behavioral Health and the Mental Health Association of Rochester/Monroe County, will present an evening program on May 5 entitled "Recent Developments in the Research and Treatment of Anxiety Disorder: A Consumer and Family Perspective." This free, educational program is open to the community and will feature a discussion by three local experts on the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders across a lifespan. Special emphasis will be placed on anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. Program attendees will hear first-hand accounts from individuals suffering with these illnesses.

Seating is limited and may be reserved by calling the Mental Health Association at 325-3145. Interpreters for the hearing impaired will be available with advanced notification to the Health Association.
