"Dr. Mom" To Speak At Strong Beginnings Open House

Pediatrician Marianne Neifert, M.D., also nationally recognized as "Dr. Mom," will speak at the Birth Day at Strong Beginnings event at Strong Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 26.
Dr. Mom's presentation, "Can I Really Do It All? -- Dispelling the Superparent Myth" will offerentertaining and practical advice to help parents and future parents find a balance between family, work and personal life. Her presentation will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by a question/answer period and a signing of her two child-rearing books, Dr. Mom and Dr. Mom's Parenting Guide.
Dr. Mom is a board-certified pediatrician, author, columnist, lecturer, wife and mother of five. She combines her professional training, personal experience, and practical wisdom to offer commonsense advice for a host of contemporary family and lifestyle issues. She is affiliated with Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver and is clinical professor of Pediatrics at University of Colorado School of Medicine. She also writes a column on children's health issues for Baby Talk Magazine and a contributing editor for Parenting Magazine.
