Four Faculty Members from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry Receive Buswell Fellowships

Four faculty members from the University of RochesterÕs School of Medicine and Dentistry have been awarded Buswell Fellowships for the 1997-1998 academic year. Awarded on an annual basis, the fellowships are intended to assist each recipient in their research interests, and to help them prepare for careers in academic medicine.
The recipients are:
Leslie Bunce, M.D., assistant professor of medicine in the Vascular Medicine Unit;
Yuhchyau Chen, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of radiation oncology;
Robert A. Gross, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of neurology; and
Carl T. McGary, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of pathology and laboratory medicine
The Buswell Fellowships were made possible by the bequest of the late Ralph Hochstetter, brother of Bertha H. Buswell, to honor the memory of Henry C. Buswell and Bertha H. Buswell.
