Carrabba’s Italian Grill Opening Celebration Helps Kids

October 11, 2006

"We say ‘Children are always welcome at our house’ for a reason – we care about them. That’s why the decision to donate a portion of our opening night sales at our first Rochester store to the region’s only children’s hospital was such a perfect fit."

If you’ve been driving near Marketplace Mall in Henrietta lately, you may have noticed a newcomer under construction in the neighborhood: Carrabba’s Italian Grill. This friendly, festive eatery elicits the vibe of the Italian countryside and opens on Monday, Oct. 30, for a grand celebration that will donate 50 percent the evening’s sales to Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.

Carrabba’s prides itself on its commitment to freshness and features unique and flavorful handmade Italian dishes prepared to order in a lively exhibition kitchen. Specialties include calamari, chicken marsala and steaks, fresh fish and seafood cooked over a wood-fired grill. For children they offer a special “Bambini” menu including pasta, chicken fingers and kid-size pizzas. They also offer pizza dough for their entertainment (and yours).

“We say ‘Children are always welcome at our house’ for a reason – we care about them. That’s why the decision to donate a portion of our opening night sales at our first Rochester store to the region’s only children’s hospital was such a perfect fit,” said Andrew DeBack, Proprietor, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Henrietta.

Carrabba’s is located at 3540 W. Henrietta Road and opens at 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30.
