Four for Four Concert Series: Your Chance to Sing with Uncle Plum

January 02, 2007

Your chance to croon on stage with Uncle Plum and other bands comes Friday, Jan. 26, at the Harro East Ballroom. That night is the first of the Four for Four Charity Concert Series, a four-concert marathon (one performance each month for four months) that will benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong.

Each night of the Four for Four Concert Series will feature Uncle Plum, 50/50, Download and a guest DJ. The Jan. 26 opening night will also include two raffle contests: a chance to win a spot on TV in an Ugly Betty lip synching competition (grand prize: a free round-trip ticket to anywhere in the United States) and a shot at winning time on stage, performing a song with the band of your choice.

Doors open at 4 p.m. each of the concert nights (Jan. 26, Feb. 23, March 23 and April 27). Bands begin at 6:30 p.m. Parking is free at the Harro East Ballroom, 155 N. Chestnut St., downtown Rochester. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served through 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 at the door. Visit or call the Thirsty Turtle at (585) 924-4010 to inquire about advance ordering and special drink and ticket offers. For sponsorship opportunities and more information, call Ted Rund at (585) 944-8679.
