Talk on Cardiac Health After Head, Neck Cancers Feb. 1 at Wilmot Cancer Center

Cardiologist John Bisognano, M.D., will address cardiac health after head and neck cancers Thursday, Feb. 1, at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Bisognano, director of the Strong Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, will lead the discussion at 4 p.m. during the meeting of the Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Connection. The discussion is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with the cancers and will be held at the Wilmot Cancer Center. Free parking is available.
Head and neck cancers account for approximately 3 to 5 percent of all cancers in the country, affecting about 40,000 people each year. These cancers are more common in men and in people over age 50.
