Volunteers Needed to Build Huge Balloon Haunted House
October 02, 2007
The ghouls and goblins at Balloon Manor: Elastic Park are awe-inspiring for all ages.
The James P. Wilmot Cancer Center is looking for volunteers to help build Re/Max NY Balloon Manor: Elastic Park -- the world’s first-ever scream park made entirely of balloons.
Internationally known balloon artist Larry Moss and a cadre of experts will create the silly, scary manor at Medley Centre. Volunteers can help create the scream park, which will be open for tours Oct. 19-21 and Oct. 24-28, sponsored by Re/Max NY, at Medley Centre.
Volunteers are needed to assemble the structure beginning Saturday, Oct. 13, through the end of the month. In addition, volunteers are needed to help sell tickets and offer tours of the manor.
This is the third time Moss has created a haunted manor that supports, in part, the Wilmot Cancer Center, where his wife, Judy, was treated for Hodgkin’s disease.
The event is sponsored by Airigami Production, Greater Rochester Jaycees and the Entercom Marketing Results Group. For more details or to purchase your tickets visit balloonmanor.com.
Anyone interested in joining the effort should call the Wilmot Cancer Center at (585) 242-8988 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
