Bull-Riding Event Nov. 16 Benefits Wilmot’s Breast Cancer Program
November 14, 2007
WBEE 92.5 FM and Daisy Dukes are teaming up to support breast cancer care and research at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center by hosting “Billy Kidd’s Babes and Bull-Riding Breast Cancer Benefit” Friday, Nov. 16.
The 6 to 10 p.m. event will bring proceeds from the cover charge and bull-riding to the Wilmot Cancer Center, in memory of WBEE personality Billy Kidd’s wife, Jeanne, who died from breast cancer earlier this year.
Daisy Dukes, a country-themed bar that features a mechanical bull and cowgirls, is located at 336 East Ave., in Rochester.
The Wilmot Cancer Center is the Finger Lakes leader for cancer care and research. More than 400 doctors, nurses and support staff work together toward a single mission: to beat cancer.
