Day of Beauty Benefits Golisano Children’s Hospital
April 09, 2008
Girls just want to have fun, and at the fourth annual Girls Day Out – a beauty benefit for Golisano Children's Hospital – they will be able to do just that.
This year's event will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in the Empire Hall at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main St. Girls of all ages will feel like princesses for the day – young girls can enjoy mini manicures and hair fashions provided by Shear Ego, while moms are treated to Mary Kay makeovers and massages by Onondaga School of Massage.
The ladies can also have fun with Showtime Entertainment music; pottery painting from Color Me Mine; a "princess bounce house" from KidzPlay; a Gap fashion show; a magician; and a visit from The Grease Paint Alley Clowns, complete with balloons and face painting. Desserts, coffee, juice and the opportunity to win raffle prizes will also be provided.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $20 for children 18 years old and under, and must be purchased before April 25. All proceeds benefit Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. To make a reservation or for additional information, please contact Monica Lloyd at (585) 273-2663.
