Wilmot Cancer Center Offers VIP View for Rochester Twilight Criterium

Fans of the Rochester Twilight Criterium can enjoy an evening of dinner and premium views at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center VIP dinner Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Blue Cross Arena. Guests can also get tickets to win a drawing for a road bike and take up the sport themselves.
The Rochester Twilight Criterium is an international professional bicycle race that draws competitors and fans from throughout the world to see the champion cyclists speed through downtown Rochester streets. This event is quickly becoming one of the most popular for bicyclists because of the challenges of the downtown Rochester course.
The VIP area will be open from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Blue Cross Arena for hors d’oeuvres from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and dessert. This event offers Criterium fans an air-conditioned area with some of the best views of the course and indoor and outdoor seating.
Tickets for the VIP event are $35 per person and available by calling the Wilmot Cancer Center at (585) 276-4717. The Wilmot Cancer Center is beneficiary of proceeds from the Criterium. Funds will support local cancer care and research.
Wilmot volunteers are also selling tickets to win a Trek Madone 5.1 road bike, valued at nearly $3,000. Tickets are $5 or three for $10. They are available at Full Moon Vista Bike & Sport, 180 St. Paul St., at the Criterium, or by calling the Wilmot Cancer Center at (585) 276-4717. The drawing will be held at the Criterium awards ceremony.
