September 19, 2008

A free program, Back Pain – How to Avoid Surgery will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the Hahnemann Club, 301 Stoutenburgh Lane, located on the campus of The Highlands at Pittsford, off of Rt. 31, just east of the village of Pittsford.

Back Pain – How to Avoid Surgery is second in the nine-part health and wellness series, To Your Health!, presented by The Highlands at Pittsford and the University of Rochester Medical Center, to inspire and educate older adults about health issues specific to their needs. The programs are taught by URMC’s faculty of distinguished physicians and other providers affiliated with Strong Memorial Hospital, Highland Hospital, the Eastman Dental Center, Visiting Nurse Service and other affiliates of the Medical Center.
