Wine Tasting, Auction to Benefit Dementia Care at The Living Center
Event to Aid Creative Care Neighborhood at The Highlands at Pittsford Nursing Home

The Third Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction benefit will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at The Living Center, a part of The Highlands at Pittsford senior living community, to support innovative care aimed at improving the quality of life for residents with dementia.
Proceeds from the event will help enhance The Living Center’s Creative Care Neighborhood at The Highlands, which incorporates advanced approaches in the care and understanding of nursing home residents with dementia.
The evening will feature Anton P. Porsteinsson, M.D., director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Care, Research and Education Program and the Memory Disorders Clinic at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Ginny Ryan, news anchor for 13WHAM News will serve as master of ceremonies.
The Wine Tasting and Silent Auction, in partnership with Century Pittsford Wines, will be held at The Highland at Pittsford’s Hahnemann Club, 301 Stoutenburgh Lane, off Route 31 in Pittsford. Tickets are $35 per person, $55 per couple.
