Victor Hills Golf Club will host the Second Annual Women’s Health Golf Classic on Friday, June 8, to benefit the University of Rochester Medical Center’s care and research focused on mid-life women.
“As women experience mid-life, changes in their bodies and in their health can mean significant challenges to their lifestyle and for their families,” said James R. Woods Jr., M.D., Henry A. Thiede Professor and chair of URMC’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. “Our researchers and clinicians are investigating these changes and finding solutions to ensure that women can meet these changes and the challenges that come with them with the very best care.”
The Golf Classic is open to the public. Entry fees are $450 for a foursome or $120 for individuals. Participants will sign in at 9 a.m. and tee off at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start on Victor Hills’ South Course. The tournament includes lunch at the turn and a concluding program complemented by hors d’oeuvres and prizes. Event sponsors include DGA Builders and Van Bortel Subaru.
