In 1951, Andrew J. Kirch founded F.A. Motors Inc., one of the nation’s first Volkswagen dealerships. He lived modestly, but valued the ideal of giving back to his community. James Vazzana, a prominent local attorney who specializes in estate planning, suggested that Kirch consider a bequest to assist the growing, local children’s hospital. Hundreds of children are cared for at the Kirch Center each year.
