Dermatologist Discusses Skin Cancer Prevention, Care on April 4

Warm weather and sunny days will arrive soon, and Rochester area cancer support agencies are offering a free discussion on skin cancer prevention, detection and treatment from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 4, at the Rochester Museum and Science Center’s Bausch Auditorium, 657 East Ave.
Dermatologist Jennifer Cooper, M.D., a skin cancer specialist with the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center, will discuss latest treatments for skin cancer and prevention techniques.
Cooper is a graduate of Wake Forest School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at University of Rochester Medical Center.
This is part of a series of educational lectures on cancer related matters sponsored by Gilda’s Club, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Western New York, American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester and the Wilmot Cancer Center.
