Video Game Competition Benefits Wilmot Cancer Center

Fast-fingered video gamers will be fighting off aliens to support the local battle against cancer during a Halo 2 tournament on Saturday, April 2, at the University of Rochester Palestra. The second annual tournament begins at 10 a.m., and funds raised support the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Halo 2 is a popular XBox video game and this double-elimination slayer tournament will be for individuals and teams.
The event is sponsored by ITS Computer Sales and prizes include Mac mini, Nintendo DS, and iPod minis.
The cost for pre-registration is $10 per person or $20 for a four-person team, or $12 and $25 for a team on the day of the event. For more information, call (585) 275- 8353.
