Sept. 29 Talk Focuses on Advances in Breast Cancer Surgery

James P. Wilmot Cancer Center breast cancer surgeon Gretchen Ahrendt, M.D., will discuss advances in surgery at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, at the University of Rochester Medical Center Conference Center, located at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Kendrick Road.

Ahrendt, associate professor of Surgery and Oncology and surgical director for Wilmot’s Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program, will address all aspects of surgical procedures to treat women with breast cancer and answer participants’ questions. 

The event is part of an educational series sponsored by the Wilmot Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program.
