University Raises $1.3 Million for United Way

As a result of the 6,300 faculty, staff and retirees who generously pledged to the 2008 United Way/Red Cross Campaign, the University raised over $1.3 million. This outcome was achieved, in large part, through the commitment of University leadership and the outstanding efforts of the over 550 University campaign volunteers, including those at Highland Hospital, Visiting Nurse Service, and the Highlands at Pittsford and Brighton.
