Our general gynecology and obstetric faculty are among the best and the brightest, offering a wide range of services in women's health care to the community.
Gynecologic Oncology
This year, more than 80,000 women will discover that they have some form of gynecologic cancer. It might affect their ovaries, uterus, cervix, vulva, vagina, or fallopian tubes. In many cases, you can take steps to prevent some types of cancer, or to detect them early enough to make a difference.
Gynecologic Specialties
Many women enjoy long-term partnerships with their obstetrician-gynecologists who care for them through their child bearing years and beyond. But if a woman faces more complex gynecological issues, the experts at Strong Gynecology Specialties practice, located in the Women's Health pavilion, are available to help.
Maternal Fetal Medicine
Fortunately, with proper prenatal care, most pregnancies are low-risk and result in healthy babies. But when circumstances arise that put a pregnancy at increased risk, women can be referred to the specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine. With expertise in pregnancy counseling, OB/Gyn ultrasound, reproductive genetics and fetal monitoring, our faculty are able to help guide women to the best possible pregnancy outcomes.
Midwifery Group
The Strong Midwifery Group provides high-quality, personal obstetrical and well-woman care. Services provided include prenatal, maternity care and well-woman care.
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
Specialists at the Strong Fertility Center, located in the Women's Health Pavilion, combine expertise with compassionate comprehensive care, helping couples every day to realize the joy of creating the families they desire. The Center includes physicians, nurses, and other health professionals with extensive training and experience.
Urogynecology
Strong Pelvic Health and Continence Specialties combines the expertise of urogynecologists with urology and colorectal specialties to address the array of issues that can cause problems with the area known as the pelvic floor.
