Contact Hours

The Peri-FACTS program, for up to 32.5 contact hours, is approved by the Nursing Continuing Education Committee at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital, Strong Health Affiliates which is accredited as a provider of continuing education for nursing by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission of Accreditation. Check with your own state boards and/or certification organizations to ensure that these are credits that they accept.

Continuing Medical Education Credits

Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and physician assistants also may participate inOffice of Continuing Professional Education the program. The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry designates this educational activity for a maximum of 32.5 hours per year in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
