James R. Woods, Jr., M.D.

Photo of Dr. Woods Dr. Woods is the Henry A. Thiede Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He received his MD degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Ob/Gyn at Tripler Army Medical Center. His Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine was received from UCLA. Dr. Woods is Board Certified in both general OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Woods is also the Director of the Peri-FACTS Program, an Internet-based educational program that serves more than 12,741 clients on a weekly basis.

Pregnancy loss, Oxidant stress, fetal heart rate monitoring.
