Ruth Anne Queenan, M.D.

Dr. Queenan joined the faculty of the University of Rochester as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in September, 2000. Prior to that time, she was Assistant Professor in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and the Director of medical student education at that University. Dr. Queenan received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and then completed another residency in Ob/Gyn at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine was awarded at Northwestern University Medical School, where she was a preceptor for second year medical student education. Dr. Queenan is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
