Sireesha Y. Reddy, M.D.

Photo of Dr. Reddy Dr. Reddy trained at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and at the University of Rochester. She is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who is one of three faculty members chosen to be part of a unique program with the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development, known as the Women's Reproductive Health Research Career Center (WRHR). She joined the faculty in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a member of Gynecological Specialties Practice in 1999. During this time she has established a referral clinic for Pediatric and Adolescence Gynecology, understanding that this special young population has unique requirements for physicians who are skilled in the medical evaluation and surgical management and correction of gynecologic disorders of this age group.

Dr. Reddy has lectured and given workshops at national meetings, including the North American Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Annual Clinical Meeting. She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Society for Adolescent Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Medical Student Education Director. As part of the WRHR, she is extensively involved in both clinical and basic science research in the area of endometriosis. During the past years, Dr. Reddy has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications. She has also been awarded several foundation and NIH grants to support her research.
