William Curtin, M.D.

Photo of Dr. Toy Dr. Curtin joined the faculty in 2001 as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He received his BS degree in Biology in 1981, and MD in 1985, both from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Curtin did an obstetrics and gynecology residency from 1985 to 1989 with the United States Army at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He was then stationed in Frankfurt, Germany where he practiced general obstetrics and gynecology from 1989 to 1993.

Dr. Curtin completed a second residency in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology from 1993 to 1997 at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He spent a year (1997-1998) in the Indian Health Service at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Center in Chinle, Arizona on the Navajo Nation Reservation. In Chinle, he served as laboratory director and staff obstetrician-gynecologist.

Dr. Curtin completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine from 1998 to 2001 at the Medical College of Ohio, in Toledo prior to joining the faculty at the University of Rochester. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Anatomic & Clinical Pathology.
