OCA research staff is tuned into the latest URMC developments and trends in biomedical and pharmaceutical science, and works closely with the URMC Office of Technology Transfer. We propose specific opportunities and field industry inquiries to identify likely connections between corporate needs and URMC research capabilities.

We understand the need to address intellectual property issues upfront and project by project. OCA collaborates with the University’s Office of Research Project Administration and URMC Office of Technology Transfer in the creation of IP agreements that meet corporate and academic needs.

Driving research agreements to:

  • Respect the university’s objectives and scientific mission; and
  • Meet corporate timelines, reporting needs, compliance obligations, and other specific requirements.
