Mission Statement

The Office of Corporate Alliances (OCA) will facilitate and accelerate the dynamic transfer of science and technology from the academic laboratory to the realm of medical advancement by building and leading corporate and financing alliances that further the goals and mission of the University of Rochester and the Medical Center (URMC).

OCA will be the primary broker for technology commercialization entities and investors interested in interfacing with the URMC and the University. It will likewise be the principal resource for URMC faculty members seeking to establish industry relationships and spinoffs to support their research and form companies.
