Special Features / Functions

What's new at PACS 2005:

• The conference will occupy the entire Ballroom area at The Westin Riverwalk.
• Exhibits will be set up in The Hidalgo Ballroom and the Madero and Carranza Rooms.
• All food functions and refreshment breaks will be held in the Exhibit Area.
• The lectures will be held classroom style in the full Navarro Ballroom to allow more space for attendees.
• Power connections will be available for laptop computers at some of the classroom style seats.
• Exhibitors will have the option of a 6-foot or 8-foot table in the Exhibit Area.
• The Quest for Knowledge drawing will be held prior to the Last Chance Reception on Friday, March 11, 2005 to encourage more attendees to participate.

5:30-8:30pm Meet the Exhibitors and Mix & Mingle Reception - Familiarize yourself with the participating Exhibitors and their products and services. Use this time to ask the questions in your Quest for Knowledge booklet. The Mix & Mingle Reception is supported by Philips Medical Systems. Bring your spouse or companion - connect with old friends, make new contacts and enjoy the carving stations, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, munchies, sweets and beverages (wine, beer, soda) in a relaxed environment. You won't require dinner after this reception!

5:30-6:00pm Quest for Knowledge Drawing - You must be present to win. This is the third year for Quest for Knowledge. It is designed to provide attendees with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of the productivity benefits of PACS and related products and services. Participation is not mandatory - but if you don't participate, you can't win a great gift. Attendees participating should meet with as many Exhibitors as possible throughout the conference to obtain answers to questions provided by participating Exhibitors. Attendees will be eligible to win one gift. Specific instructions will be provided in the Attendee Registration Package. Faculty, employees of Exhibitors, University of Rochester employees and other vendor registrants are not eligible to participate.

6:00-8:00pm Final Opportunity to Visit with Exhibitors and Last Chance Reception - The Last Chance Reception is supported by Siemens Medical Solutions. Bring your spouse or companion. This is your final opportunity to meet the exhibitors, get your questions answered, make informed decisions, or set up appointments for exhibitors to visit with you at your institution or office. This reception offers a carving station, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, munchies, beverages (wine, beer, soda) and desserts. You probably won't require dinner after this reception.
