6th Annual Conference


Special Features / Functions

What's going on at PACS 2006:

  • A two-day Practicum to prepare attendees for the more advanced topics to be held the last two days of the conference.
  • Dual tracks will be held on the last day of the conference. Track A is clinically oriented and Track B is technically oriented.

The following case studies will be presented:

  • Madison Medical Center, a 25-bed hospital
  • Inland-Imaging, multiple outpatient imaging centers

The following case studies on implementing an Enterprise Archive will be presented:

  • Inland-Imaging
  • Banner Health

The technical exhibits provide attendees with the opportunity to compare the functionality, ease of use and image quality of applications from cardiology, radiology, radiation oncology vendors as well as data management systems, monitors, storage applications and other essential tools required in the digital healthcare environment.

Mix & Mingle Reception — Tuesday, March 14, 2006

The Mix & Mingle Reception is an excellent opportunity to renew old acquaintenances and make new ones. For 2-1/2 hours you will be able to enjoy the following menu:

Spiral-Cut Hame on Whole Wheat Rolls or Bisquits • Cafe Round of Beef • Asian Stir Fry • Pasta Station • Jicama Salad

Cheese Display • Crudite • Seasonal Fruits Tortilla Chips and Salsa • Miniature Fruit Pastries and Petit Fours, Pecan Tarts, Mini Chocolate Cake with Nuts

Domestic and Imported Beers, Chardonnay and Cabernet, Mineral Water, Regular and Diet Sodas

Breakfast Buffets — Hot items Include scrambled eggs with either sausage or bacon on Wednesday and Friday and Thursday will be Sausage Kolaches. Oatmeal and Yogurt will be served at each breakfast buffet along with breakfast breads, bagels, danish and muffins. Coffee, teas and juices.

Lunch Buffets — On Wednesday we will serve: Lunch size Beef Empanadas, Grilled Vegetarian Rollups, Grilled Chicken Caesar Rollups, Roast Sirloin, Swiss Cheese and Lettuce on Rye, Mayo, Pickle, Sliced Tomatoes; Jimaca and Vegetable Slaw; Cucumber andTomato Salad with Buttermilk Dressing, Potato Salad; Assorted Whole Fruits, Mini Tarts and Assorted Sodas and Mineral Water. On Thursday we will serve: Chopped Mesquite Beef on Hamburger Buns with BBQ sauce, Chopped Onions, Pickles; Turkey on Rye with Lettuce and Tomatoes; Grilled Vegetarian Rollups; Ham and Swiss Cheese with Lettuce on Coarse Ground Wheat; Cole Slaw, Green Salad with Dressing and Potato Chips; Assorted Whole Fruit, Mini Tarts and Assorted Sodas and Mineral Water. On Friday we will serve: Chicken Fajitas, Flour Tortillas, Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream and Jalapenos; Grilled Vegetarian Rollups; Roast Sirloin with Swiss Cheese and Lettuce on Rye; Italian Hoagie with Salami, Hot Ham, Proscuitto and Provolone Cheese; Jicama and Vegetable Slaw; Cucumber and Tomato Salad with Buttermilk Dressing; Pasta Salad; Assorted Whole Fruit, Mini Tarts and Assorted Soda and Mineral Water.

Afternoon Breaks — Includes assorted sodas, mineral water, assorted Texas Size Cookies and Deluxe Mixed Nuts for our carb watchers!
