Clinical Interests
Dr. Pierce is Board certified in Anatomic Pathology. He completed residency training in AP and a fellowship in environmental toxicology and pathology at the University of Washington. His primary clinical interest is autopsy and liver pathology. He is Director of the Autopsy Pathology service.
Research Overview

Dr. Pierce's laboratory is focused on understanding liver immunobiology, particularly the role of Kupffer cells in maintaining normal liver physiology and in modulating immunopathology in the liver. There are a variety of projects with a number of active collaborations.
